I've done a small painting, and plan to do some more, of a chimpanzee. There are prints available on redbubble now, which I'm selling to raise money for Save the Chimps. www.redbubble.com/people/pangorillapongo/art/7610262-chimpanzee-infant If anyone is interested in purchasing the original painting, which is on A4 canvas paper, send me a PM. Here is a link for my fundraising page that I've been using, so far I've raised $245 for STC ;D, my goal is $1300 which will feed a chimp for a year. $25 feeds a chimp for a week so it all helps. www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/amy-atherton-1/freedomforlabchimps Save the Chimps is the largest chimpanzee sanctuary in America, and has provided sanctuary to around 300 chimps, many from the Coulston Foundation biomedical laboratory.

For those who have not been following the migrations from the former Coulston Foundation laboratory to the Save the Chimps sanctuary in Florida, the final 10 chimps are currently making their trip to their island in the sun. You can follow their journey on Facebook: www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Save-The-Chimps-Inc/53944314421 Dr Carole Noon must be looking down at them with just the biggest smile. It really is so exciting that after all these years the last chimps will leave their old lives behind. I'm hoping to do a charity auction on this site for Save the Chimps, but I'm not sure if I should wait until we have more active members. If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.
